A very informative, yet concise and clear presentation of the lecture material! Thank you, Dr. Pickering!
It was very informative! I liked the explanation a lot.
Very well and clearly explained and nice to listen to.
Concise but still covers all clinically relevant points. As expected of Dr. Richard.
This is a very important topic in my country (Guatemala), thank you Dr Richard.
Very nice I like your way of teaching Thanks for you very much for the information you provided
Estos videos estan increibles para repasar de una forma que no sea tediosa, ya con las bases y esto para repasar uno mismo puede ir comentando el video junto con el expositor lo cual está excelente
Great lecture, concise and brief, just make sure you are good understanding english.
5 star rating. it is summarized with systematic flow of concepts and question reviews at each stage. i recommend it to every medical student.
Very nicely and shortly summarizef the subjects. Crystal clear concepts, easy to understand.
I understand everything that the doctor says and the class help me so much for my exams
Read the slides too quickly and did not give proper explanation of topics,
5 stars for Dr. Meyer! Excellent explanation & good structure! Thank you!!!
Dr. Meyer, you are awesome!!! I never thought that I will start to like Histology! The entire chapter is great! My favourite part is your interactive technique bonus, used in Esophagus video! :)
I like it I’m still learning but I’m very grateful for the material and content matter
very nice and concise . Good explanation with beautiful diagrams and interactive learning supplemented with a methodical approach
Professor, I thank you! You made this lecture so easy for me to understand that I kept on smiling to myself knowing that I now understand this lecture perfectly well. I like the way you demonstrated the parts of the lips by actually showing/pointing to it on yourself. For initially before I watched your lecture, I did not know where the vermilion border was, etc. Thank you for enriching my knowledge with such vital information. God bless you
His lectures are always amazing, simple and so clear! Thank you
Dr. Thad Wilsson s lectures are brilliant He explains and demonstrates all on the diagram geographically and very memorable. I much appreciated , many thanks.
Español: Fácil de aprender. Conciso y directo. Buena infografía. English: Easy to learn. Concise and direct. Good infographic.
Very well explained. Physiological aspects of digestion & absorption combined with histological study makes it easy to comprehend the process. Eg. Circulation of blood & bile to & from the liver very well explained.
Dear Dr Meyer, you have made my histology course so much easier and understandable! I cannot thank you enough!
Excellent videos! Very concise and to the point. Very high yield everything discussed. Dr. Wilson has an ability to explain complex concepts in an easy manner. Highly recommend you to see this videos of GI Physiology!
Teaches really well. Informative, fun to learn Lectures. I liked it very Much.
BASIC AND COCISE OUTLINE OF WHAT THE GI SYSTEM DOES
There is a lot of information, and that is good, but the slides don't mention those information briefly.
It's pretty precise and I appreciate the professor showing images while explaining.
In general, I find the lectures provided in Lecture to be of exceptional quality. This one is not only below that standard, but, for me, it fails entirely as an instructive tool especially in regard to the discussion around the first figure. Basic principles to convey information are missing, and when combined together make for a frustrating experience where little to no information is really conveyed. 1. The labels are indicated only as the lecturer speaks. The slide never shows the labels at one time only. (I understand the lecturer wishes to flag the information he is talking about. This could just as easily been done with a figure that shows all of the labels but uses color or boldness to draw our attention to the item under discussion. Better yet, in lieu of highlighting the label, highlighting the actual anatomical item is even more effective). 2. The labels are not adjacent to each other so that the reader looses a visual relation. This is a circular structure with consistent layering, yet the labels jump from side to side for no reason. This is not only distracting but prevents us viewers from easily following the structure along with the discussion. 3. There is no rhyme or reason to the coloring. Connective tissue and muscle are both pink and yellow. This makes it impossible for the viewer to quickly appreciate the structures. Frankly, from this lecture, I have no clue what is where in terms of the layer of the esophagus and the location of each plexus. I ask each of you at Lecturio who are reading this review to see if you are able to grasp this information after reviewing this lecture. In addition to fixing this lecture, it is my hope to hear from Lecturio as to whether the company has in place an editorial team to ensure that basic principals to successfully convey information, as has been done in this lecture, are never missed. After all, we students are paying for a professional service to help educate us, not waste our time. Thank you for your consideration.
I like it because it's easy to use and qualified one
Great summaries. The professor was able to learn and concisely explain all topics at hand.
Overall good course with an extraordinary professor with brief and precise explanations of the different topics. The only thing I would add not only to histology course, but to Lecturio is more questions in the q bank. Or different type of questions. Most of them are straight forward from the video and not enough critical thinking in my opinion. I would like to see an improvement in this area
This course is presented in a very simple format that help you to understand the concepts. They utilize short videos that make it easier to digest the information. Also, they have a short quiz after the majority of the videos to help you see if you are getting the information. Very useful. This course is helping me a lot reviewing the information for my GI tract exam. Thanks!
Excellent lecture all concepts very succint and co-ordination activity of contractions are appreciated very much and the magnitude of gi secretions enlighted
They are really all good; and great for medical school Students.
This course in general is very well explained, but this conference has really been very clear for my understanding of this subject. Thanks Dr. Wilson!
These lectures on the gastrointestinal histology were more than helpful to me, as they came in handy for, firstly, comprehending the overall picture and, secondly, for taking note on the details (such as the types of cells that make the gastric glands or the intestinal glands)
Great presentation- using anatomical and engineering views of the system helped to understand the structure and its function
Very clear explanation and quick review after the topic explanation. Geoffrey also exposes tricks for remembering key items. I admire very much this professor.
A very good explanation of the topic and we can understand it so well and can learn from the questions that they ask at the end of the topic
I like the Indian style- I trained in India very good 3 different lecturers and all good
Dr. Wilson your lectures are so clear and straight forward that it gave me a whole new level of understanding and appreciation for physiology. Just Perfect, re watchable, Enjoyable and concise . Thanks this will definitely be helping so much future doctors, I'll easily recommend this to my classmates obsessively.
I think it lacks important things and that it's too basic.
I chose this rating because everythingbis told and no details are left behind and also that it is told so well.
Nicely and easily explained. Thank you so much Dr Meyer
very easily and well explained lecture about the esophagus. thank you for the explination
He is the best I have ever seen. The way he broke down the topic was really commendable
It's clear and understandable.I learnt nearly all of the topic
Well explained and i clearly understand how digestion and absorption be done.
Short and precise videos. They are extensive and short. Would be nice if you had more of this kind on GI physiology though
it is quite helpful ! i recommend it ! well explained and organized
Provided a cohesive picture in an order that made sense! I love the order that the videos are in to build that picture.
The way that Dr. Wilson teaches is really good and make things easier.
I would totally recommend this course, I like how it was organized and how it explained the different biological processes implied on HCl production
Simple and efficient, thanks for the french traduction, your video and quizz help me a lot !
Things are set in a context and clinically related Easy and straightforward.
Useful lecture especially for the description of the congenital abnormalities of the developing hindgut
Very well explained, and the diagrams are very didactic. It is a complicated topic, but it was easy to follow and to understand.
I used to think Dr. Raj was far and away the greatest medical educator alive. I didn't even watch anyone else. I used Lecturio just for Dr. Raj's videos. Dr. Raj is funnier, and perhaps more memorable. However, Dr. Shulke presents the same level of clear, concise explanations, the kind that only come from the mind of a master who has internalized the material to the point of making it look easy. I love the part where Dr. Shulke boldly calls prednisone a clumsy tool for incompetent practioners. That is with me forever. I feel bad for my classmates struggling through our professors' awkward lectures. .
love him, he cares and it shows. he does a great job explaining, in his own words/way
it's good in short. pharmacology is a complicated subject, but his lecture makes these huge topics helpful.
Excellent content, very well explained and really a help to my studies.
I believe when someone truly knows and love what it does is able to simplify things and teach in a away easy to understand. Thank you
Very clear explanation. Very easy to follow and understand each topic.
Great professor, he simplifies all the topics to the level of understanding even when the lecture is watched for the first time.
The GI physiology was very detailed. It helped to reinforce what I learnt in class. Good overall.
Simple and straightforward and short and sweet which is good.
Dr Meyer did a great job summarizing the major histological divisions of the GI tract. The lecture was clear and concise and really cleared up some confusion I was having.
Everything that you need to know is in this lecture series.
The content was great exactly what you need to know. However the lectures didn’t appear in order and the first three lectures were mixed up.
Very knowledgeable professor who also understands to teach his subject in an accessible way. His course helped me a lot to get a good basic understanding of Histology
Clear, concise and good lecture. The professor is very easy to follow, and does a good job emphasizing what he thinks important.
The excellent pictures helps a lot. Easy understanding. Very good professor.
Great lecturer who is very knowledgeable about the subject matter & pitch. Pace is also good but needs to work on pronunciation of certain words. keep up the good job.
there is no subtitle and marks on the slide are not good enough to understand lecture
I know that you spent a lots of time to learn physiology. You provide us in a very short time. I am very excited to follow your videos and I relay appreciate your presentations. GOD BLESS YOU.
Teacher making the concepts crystal clear thank you , also all the portions are covering
Thank you for these organized, concise, and well-prepared lectures, Dr. Meyer !!!
A Well-done explanation of Lipid Absorption ! Thank You, Dr. Meyer !
best of the best! everything is well explained in a short time! saved me a lot of time and understood GIT so well!
very well explained! i enjoyed this lecture so much better than all other lectures of histology
questions don't go along well with the lecture sometimes questions pops out before discussed. AND please mark. i kept getting lost and try to figure which part you're talking about.
It seems superficial. Why do I care about flow rates? How do the hormones interact? This whole course was just segmented and surface level. Lecturio has the potential to replace a lot of medical schools if they start to connect information rather than segmenting it.
very detailed, clear, and professional. Related with clinic. I like his lectures very much.
Very good lecture. Clear presentation, properly indicated so very easy to follow.
Difficult to follow many of Dr. Meyer's course because of poor marking of the area under discussion. Also, questions jump into the middle of lecture, very disruptive.
Easy to understand and to follow. It was so easy to learn some really high yield concept. I used it with the first aid and the result was awesome.Totally recommend it.
So easy to understand, and dinamic i will recommend this lecture
Very Comprehensive lecture and lecture notes, covering a vast area within 3 to 4 mins
Good lectures, nice and understandable. Very good slides. I like the voice of lecturer.
Very informative, great lecturer, easy to understand and perks the interest throughout the videos!
The course is detailed and the instructor is very systematic with the information.
super fain explicat, usor de inteles mi-am clarificat problemele cu hormonii, enzimele , SNV
sunt destul de multumit de aceste cursuri , totusi , se poate si mai bine
Great lectures. The salivary gland part was a bit confusing. Seems to be lacking context.
Very good for review. Covered everything I needed to know for a speedy review.
Thanks for the efforts but I think It is more like reading slides not explaining.
Very informative, engaging and interesting. Clean and crisp presentation. Just Love it!
Used for the study in chiropractic school, need a quiz for review the material that is learned by the videos.
