Introduction to Computer Science

This online course in Computer Science is one of the most popular MOOCs (massive open online courses). It's the online version of Harvard's introductory CS50 class. It includes everything you need to know as a beginner in computer science.

The course gives learners an introduction to:

• Algorithms,
• Cyber security,
• Software, and
• Web development. 

No prior experience is required to take the course. Learning is free, an optional course certificate can be purchased. More than 4 million online students have already enrolled in the course.

• There is also a shorter and less technical version of the course for business professionals (here).
• An experimental 3D/VR version with 360 degree videos is available on Youtube. However, this is not the full MOOC course (only videos).
