This online course (MOOC) gives an introduction to global warming and climate change.

The course covers topics such as:

Climate Models
Greenhouse Gases and the Atmosphere
The Structure of the Atmosphere
Weather and Climate
The Carbon Cycle
Human Impact on Climate
Mitigation

The course brings together insights and perspectives from physics, chemistry, biology, earth and atmospheric sciences, and even some economics—all based on a foundation of simple mathematics (algebra). (Note: There is a Part II where learners can create their own models of climate change.)
