Content

This online course provides an introduction to biomedical imaging and modern imaging modalities.


It includes procedures such as:

  • X-rays
  • Computerised tomography (CT)
  • Ultrasound
  • Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
  • Positron-emission tomography (PET) and SPECT

The course covers the basic scientific principles behind each modality, and introduces some of the key applications, from neurological diseases to cancers.
