Which Online Courses Does She Want to Do Next?
Rebecca would now like to take an online course on first aid offered by the University of Glasgow via FutureLearn:
"I am keen to study basic first aid to upgrade my skills.
Several years ago, I completed an online course about disaster preparedness, and it made me very aware that being able to provide simple medical care in an emergency could save someone's life. However, I have been unable to find an in-person class available in my area.
This online course looks like a good alternative to help fill in the gaps in my knowledge."
She is also planning to take a course on Chinese Medicine offered by Hong Kong University.
"The course caught my eye because I would like to know more about Chinese medicine and how it compares to Western/traditional medicine.
The course syllabus is very appealing. It is well-rounded and covers everything from history to Chinese herbs. I look forward to learning about the concepts and how they might apply to my own health."
Rebecca also wants to learn script writing in an online course offered by Michigan State University.
"As a freelance writer, I am always looking for new ways to improve my skills. The script-writing course looks like a good opportunity to learn fresh approaches to the creative process and develop some ideas that I have. I also like the idea of being able to get feedback from peers on my writing."
